Crooked Nose Surgery

You would think most people that want surgery from having a crooked nose would be the majority of Rhinoplasty canidates, but its not. There are a lot of people that get Rhinoplasty for reasons other than a crooked nose. Most get nostrils corrected and most often most people want a thinner nose.

Crooked nose surgery however has various aspects. For some it may be a car accident, or some other type of accident which has left the nose cartilage loose, or has bent the nose in one direction or another. For others, it may be a hump on the top part of the nose rather than a straight continuation down to the nostril openings.

A crooked nose can be corrected to a certain extent based on the actual severity. If it is a crooked nose septum then the work will be a lot easier than if it is pure bone that needs to be ground down or restructured. In some cases like that of JenĀ  who got a Rhinoplasty in Boston done, it took multiple visits to complete the surgery because there was not just one aspect.

Proper healing comes into play, and if the nose is not allowed to heal then there can be more damaged tissue than desired. As always it is best to check with your Rhinoplasty surgeon to make sure you are really getting what you want out of the Rhinoplasty correction.
